St. George's House: A converted Rectory
opened in 1978 and is a non-profit making registered charity.
It is a Christian project, conceived, set up and run by committed Christians.
The facilities are particularly designed to cater for groups of young
people from church groups, schools, youth clubs and youth organizations
and now includes a major new building with a large meeting room, several
smaller rooms and coffee bar. The new facility also contains an environmental
studies room to aid our fieldwork courses. A warm welcome is extended to
all groups whether Christian based or not.

Location: We
are situated in the village of Georgeham and 1.5 miles from a great sandy
beach which is approximately 2.5 miles long.
The surrounding countryside is an exceptionally attractive part of
Devon and ideal for the activities we provide. Map
Activities: A
wide range of activities can be enjoyed during a visit to the house, such
as Kayaking, Canoeing,
Rock Climbing and Abseiling, Surfing, Mountain Biking, Sailing, Waterskiing
and Orienteering. Every effort is made by our fully qualified staff to
make the activities suitable and safe for all ages and abilities. Complete
novices can undertake any activity and obtain considerable achievement
and satisfaction.
